NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that sealed
bids will be received by the Board of School Trustees of the Lake Ridge New
Tech School Corporation. Located in Lake County, Indiana, at the Lake
Ridge New Tech Education Center, 6111 W. Ridge Rd., Gary, Indiana 46408
beginning Tuesday, April 2, 2024, up to and including the hour
of 9:00 AM (CST) on Wednesday April 10, 2024. The bid is
specifically set for Food Services Management Companies that will serve the
students and staff of the Lake Ridge New Tech School District. All bids
shall be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit. Bids will be opened in public on Wednesday April 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM (CST)
by committee and will be available for public inspection at that time.
The committee will meet to review and a recommendation will be
presented to the Board of Trustees at the next regularly scheduled board
meeting following the completion of the review process. Specifications
for the Food Service Management Company, including building specifications and
service RFP as provided by the Indiana Department of Education, length of
contract, renewal requirements and other related information will be on file at
the Lake Ridge New Tech Education Center Business Office, and may be examined
during regular business hours of 8:00 AM (CST) until 2:30 PM (CST), Monday
through Friday. Additionally, the specifications can be found on the Lake
Ridge New Tech Schools web page located at www.lakeridge.k12.in.us,
listed under the Business Office Department appearing under the central office
tab. Interested parties will be required to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting on Tuesday
April 2, 2024, at the Lake Ridge New Tech Education Administration
Center at 9:00 AM (CST). The School Corporation reserves the
right to reject any and all bids. Any
