Universal Breakfast Program

Don’t forget about breakfast! Here at Lake Ridge New Tech Schools, ALL students can enjoy breakfast for FREE. Breakfast is conveniently served in each student’s homeroom through Breakfast in the Classroom. Encourage your child or children to join us each morning. Breakfast is an excellent way to kick off your child’s day!

School Lunch Program

Each day, our students are offered a nutritious lunch containing the following: meat or meat alternate, grain, fruit, vegetable, and milk! Of the five food groups offered, your child must choose at least 3 food groups, but we encourage every child to take all five food groups. One of the food groups must be a fruit or vegetable.

School Lunch prices are as follows for students: full pay $2.70 (K-5th), $2.90 (6th-12th) - reduced $.40 (K-12th), and adults are $3.75

After School Snack Program

The snack program provides students with a nutritious snack at no cost, while participating in scheduled enrichment or educational activities at their school.

Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program provides free fresh fruits and vegetables to students at the elementary schools during the school day. The goal of the FFVP is to improve students’ overall diet and create healthier eating habits. Currently, this program is offered at both Hosford Park & Longfellow Elementary Schools!

Supper Program

The supper program offers students a nutritious dinner meal. We have enrichment programs at these two sights any lake Ridge Student can come to these site and eat with no cost. This program is offered at Lake Ridge Middles School 3:00-3:30 and Calumet High Schools 2:30-3:00. Students don't have to be enrolled in the enrichment program to eat free.
