- To acquire the skills necessary for College and Career Readiness, Lake Ridge New Tech Schools partners with the New Tech Network & over 350 schools to provide students with deeper learning experiencess to prepare them for life beyond high school. We have 4 pillars that guide our model.

Students engage in learning that develops their skills to reason, problem-solve, develop sound arugments or decisions, and create new ideas by using appropriate sources and applying the knowledge and skills (Indiana Academic Standards). Through this process, they are able to think critically and become knowledgeable about the world around them.
- Oral Communication: Lake Ridge New Tech Schools believes that developing oral communication skills is vital to academic, college, and career success. Students are empowered to advocate for themselves, ask relevant questions, and communicate clearly.
- Written Communication: Lake Ridge New Tech Schools believes the ability to effectively communicate knowledge amd thinking through writing is essential for college and career success. Students build their written communication skills and are empowered to effectively communicate their ideas, share their voice, and advocate for their learning by organizing and structuring their ideas in writing while using discipline appropriate language and conventions.

- Lake Ridge New Tech Schools utlizes ECHO as our primary means of communicating cuccicula in a daily basis. Through ECHO, parents and students can access curricular resouces such as announcements, grades, course learning modules, course agendas, assignments, assessments, rubrics, etc. Parents can access their child's ECHO by using their child's login information.

- Calumet New Tech High School partners with Ivy Tech to offer students the Indiana College Core.
